Home Interiors Sewing Class

Under professional guidance this is a great opportunity to create stunning pieces for your interior. Whether you want to learn to make scatters, sofa cushion covers, roman blinds, table mats, runners or just how to put in zips and beautiful trims, this course will guide you through your soft furnishing project. Lampshades Classes
We offer workshops for making gathered lampshades, tailored lampshades, carousel lampshades and pleated lampshades.
Modern Drum Lampshade Class
Saturday 15th November 2025
1.30pm – 4.30pm
£60 – all materials included, no sewing required.
Design and make your own bespoke drum or cone-shaped lampshade, using hard PVC backing.
Base size will be 25cm. No sewing required.

Carousel Lampshade Course

Cane Seating Course
A four day course, Friday 23rd January 2026 – 13th February
10am-3pm

Learn the skills of traditional six way cane weaving with a Master Caner.
You will require a small chair, clear of cane and with a sound frame.
Chairs can be supplied for a charity donation.

French Floor Cushion Classes

includes a half hour break.
10am – 4.30pm
Cost £135 – all materials included.
Make an unpinned 18″ square box cushion cover with handle to fit your foam, learn invisible hand sewing and make and fit industrial buttons. You will then learn the sewing techniques to form an edge roll.

Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds will not be granted on cancellations prior to the class due to the preparation involved, except in the event that the place can be successfully filled, in which case a refund, less a £28 admin fee, will be given within 21 days. If the tutor has to cancel for any unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be given within 21 days.
